The kitchen project, which was “on the board” for awhile, was finally done over this past weekend.
The project was a new kitchen floor.

The vinyl tiles were showing wear and tear. Also, the seams between many of the tiles were becoming more visible. Needless to say, it was making the kitchen look a bit shabby.
After studying several different laminates and colors, a selection was made.

With some additional planning and measuring, the day for installation arrived last Saturday.
Appliances moved. More measurements made. Laminate cut and laid. A little banging here and there. A few hours later, a new kitchen floor.

In front of the refrigerator.

The kitty eating station looks very nice.

With new flooring, the kitchen looks brand new.
The next flooring project is the dining room. But, that won’t be done until May or June.
Meezer Rule: Make sure you get plenty of napping time before, during, and after supervising so you do not become over-tired.

We should do a kitchen remodeling theme! Tomorrow we are showing off our new bamboo flooring that we got installed in our redone kitchen.
