A First Monday, meezer round-up …

Celebrating a Birthday
Our kitty grandma is celebrating her birthday today. She’s ** years old. We haven’t exactly figured what kind of treats and stuff we’ll be getting to celebrate her big day, but we’re sure it’ll be good.
Happy Birthday Grandma!!!

Hot & Cold
Most of last week, our temperatures were in the lower to mid 90s. On July 4th, we set a new record high of 97 deg F. Despite the toasty temperatures, we were quite comfortable with the central air. Today, we’re much cooler with temperatures in the mid 70s. While we have comfortable conditions, 1-4 inches of snow is expected in elevations above 11,000 feet. It’s not too early to get ready for winter weather.

Bun Visitors
An item certainly to make DK & the Fluffies happy and excited. We have begun to be visited by a couple of cotton-tail buns of the outdoor kind. Unfortunately, no photos yet. But, they have come by to partake in the large smorgasbord we have outdoors called grass. They have some grass, then hop away.

Bird Watch ‘08
It’s been an excellent bird watching year. Plenty of sparrows and finches to watch, same for the mourning doves. Most enjoyable has been watching the robins. A new generation of robins have discovered the tastiness of crunchy goodness, food that we know very well. The amount of crunchies we set out for them is equivalent to roughly the amount of dry food given to an adult 11-14 lb kitty. We spread out their crunchies throughout the day so as there would be enough for all.

Meezer Find
That’s already been decided.

And, that’s the Meezer Round-up. Until next time, whenever that is …

YAY!! What a wonderful roundup! Happy Purrfday to your kitty grandma!!! And buns!! buns is cute!!!!
SNOW? good thing we doesn’t live that high up. although our mom would really prefer that weather to our 90 degrees
Ah, there’s good news tonight! As long as Grandma’s age only takes 2 asterisks, she’s fine. Happy Birthday, Grandma….
Somehow, the thought of 4 inches of snow doesn’t sound bad just now. Probably because it’s far far away…
Sounds like good news for the local urban wildlife as well. Songbirds and cottontails in the yard are fun to have around.
Happy Birthday to your grandma.
Don’t even mention snow and winter. We had way too much of that stuff last season. To average out, that means we can hope for no snow at all. Like that will ever happen.
BINKIEEESSSSS!
Happy birthday!!!!
Here’s hoping that Grandma had a most wonderful birthday.
Lucky robins to have such tasty pickins.
